Job Overview Al-Imaan College, Saki is seeking a sound, enthusiastic, and qualified Physics Teacher to join our science faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Physics to senior secondary school students, breaking down complex scientific concepts, laws, and formulas into easily digestible lessons. We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love for science, foster analytical thinking, and prepare students for outstanding performance in both internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO, JAMB). Key Responsibilities: ● Instructional Delivery: Prepare and deliver clear, structured lessons on secondary school Physics topics in alignment with the national curriculum. ● Practical Lab Sessions: Organize and supervise practical laboratory experiments to help students understand the real-world applications of physics theories. ● Lesson Planning: Develop detailed weekly lesson notes, instructional materials, and schemes of work ahead of classes. ● Student Assessment: Set, invigilate, and grade periodic tests, assignments, and terminal examinations to accurately track student academic progress. ● Classroom Management: Maintain an orderly, disciplined, and highly interactive learning environment that encourages student participation. ● Moral Mentorship: Actively support the school's commitment to high moral standards, discipline, and character development. Requirements & Qualifications ● Education: Minimum of NCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc / B.Ed) in Physics, Engineering, Science Education, or a closely related discipline. ● Subject Mastery: Deep, flawless understanding of secondary school physics concepts, calculations, and practical apparatus setups. ● Communication Skills: Strong ability to explain difficult mathematics and scientific laws clearly and patiently to students. ● Professional Ethics: High level of discipline, punctuality, integrity, and respect for institutional values. Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday – Friday) Salary Structure: ● NCE / OND Holders: ₦40,000 monthly ● HND / Bachelor's Degree Holders: ₦50,000 monthly Important Security Notice: As an educator entrusted with the academic guidance and welfare of students, the successful candidate must provide a verified Statutory Guarantor through the Proxtunity legal screening framework prior to final employment.
