Job description
Job Overview We are looking for a dedicated, creative, and qualified Class Teacher with a background in Primary Education (NCE). You will be responsible for nurturing students in their formative years, delivering a balanced curriculum, and creating a safe, stimulating learning environment. Your goal is to build strong foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and character development. Key Responsibilities: ■ Instructional Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons across various subjects (English, Math, Basic Science, etc.) tailored to the primary school level. ■ Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined yet encouraging classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and safe. ■ Student Assessment: Regularly assess and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents. ■ Curriculum Development: Prepare weekly lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the national curriculum and school standards. ■ Child Mentorship: Monitor the social and emotional development of students, identifying and supporting those who may need extra attention. ■ Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate attendance records, grade books, and student files. Requirements & Qualifications: ■ Education: Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with a specialization in Primary Education Studies (PES). ■ Expertise: Deep understanding of child psychology and modern teaching methodologies for young learners. ■ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, colleagues, and parents. ■ Patience & Empathy: A genuine love for teaching children and the patience to manage diverse learning paces. ■ Tech Literacy: Basic ability to use digital tools for lesson preparation and reporting.
